It's officially A&M week, which means Notre Dame has another big-time opportunity to notch a quality win and start their push towards another postseason appearance. The bye week coming after the Miami loss gave the coaching staff a chance to reset and attack some of the glaring issues that came out of that week 1 disappointment. Whether enough improvement can be made from game 1 to game 2 to steady the ship remains to be seen, but Marcus Freeman will certainly have his guys fired up for their home opener vs a semi-familiar opponent.

After opening the year in College Station a season ago, Notre Dame invites an A&M team to South Bend that has bigger picture goals for themselves as well. Mike Elko's squad is coming off an 8-4 regular season campaign and returns one of the more experienced teams in the country, looking to break through in a tough SEC. I went through A&M's film, and there are some concerns and some things Notre Dame could take advantage of, so let's get into both in the breakdown below.
