Notre Dame's recruiting staff went on a heater after landing three top-tier wide receivers in the 2026 class on back-to-back-to-back days over the Fourth of July weekend, as the Irish landed 4-star Kaydon Finley, 3-star Devin Fitzgerald, and 4-star Brayden Robinson. Just five days later, they've added yet another talented recruit in the 2026 class, as Nick Reddish announced his commitment to the University of Notre Dame today.

Reddish is a 5’11", 185lbs, Safety out of Independence High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. 247 Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 57 overall Safety nationally and the No. 31 overall recruit in the state of North Carolina.

He joins Joey O'Brien, a 5-star Safety out of La Salle College High School in Glenside, PA, Khary Adams, a 4-star CB out of Loyola Blakefield High School in Towson, MD, Ayden Pouncey, a 4-star Safety out of Winter Park High School in Winter Park, FL, and Chaston Smith a 4-star CB out of Knoxville Catholic High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, as the current defensive back commits for Notre Dame in the class of 2026.

Prior to committing to the Irish today, Reddish held 21 D1 Offers from such notable schools as Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ole Miss, Tennessee, North Carolina, Duke, Cincinnati, and Notre Dame, among others.
