Robinson is a 5’8", 160lbs, WR out of Red Oak High School in Red Oak, Texas. 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 340 overall recruit nationally, and the No. 52 overall wide receiver in the nation. Robinson is a speedy wide receiver who has been clocked at 10.44 in the 100m dash.
Robinson hauled in 79 receptions for 1,119 yards and 15 touchdowns in his junior season at Red Oak High School in Red Oak, Texas. He averaged 14.2 yards per reception and 22.6 yards across 10 kick returns. He joins Devin Fitzgerald, a 3-star WR out of Brophy College Preparatory High School in Phoenix, AZ., Kaydon Finley, a 4-star WR out of Aledo High School in Aledo, Texas, Bubba Frazier a 4-star WR out of Benedictine Academy in Savannah, Georgia, and Dylan Faison a 3-star WR out of St Andrew’s High School in Boca Raton, Florida as the current wide receiver commits for Notre Dame in the class of 2026.
The Irish Tribune's Head of Scouting, Max Uretsky, described Robinson's skillset:
"Robinson always appears to be playing at a different speed than his defensive counterparts. Scary acceleration when he finds some open grass, and every play is a threat to go the distance. Excellent change of direction and agility, with major YAC ability after the catch, seamlessly getting defenders to break down as he blows by them. Cornerbacks clearly respect his speed, and I constantly saw them playing 10 yards off the line of scrimmage and still bailing at the snap. He eats up the cushion so quickly that he always puts stress on the DB, and was able to do a lot of damage in the short game because of it. Elite separation quickness at the top of his routes. Surprisingly good contact balance for his size. Also provides versatility as a punt/kick returner, where he is a big-time weapon. After watching Jayden Harrison return a kickoff for a touchdown in the Sugar Bowl vs Georgia, Notre Dame fans know how beneficial having that element on special teams can be."
Prior to committing to the Irish today, Robinson held 49 D1 Offers from such notable schools as Miami, Arizona, Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M, and Notre Dame, among others. This is another recruiting victory for WR Coach Mike Brown, who has now secured commitments from all major targets at the position this cycle.
