Fitzgerald is the son of former NFL Wide Receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Devin, a 6’2", 205lbs WR out of Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona, looks to carve out his own legacy at the position his father dominated for so many years. 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 488 overall recruit nationally and the No. 7 overall recruit in the state of Arizona.
Fitzgerald hauled in 52 receptions for 720 yards and 9 touchdowns in his junior season at Brophy College Preparatory High School, averaging 13.8 yards per reception. He joins Kaydon Finley, a 4-star WR out of Aledo High School in Aledo, Texas, Bubba Frazier, a 4-star WR out of Benedictine Academy in Savannah, Georgia and Dylan Faison, a 3-star WR out of St Andrew’s High School in Boca Raton, Florida as the current wide receiver commits for Notre Dame in the 2026 class.

Prior to committing to the Irish today, Fitzgerald held 32 D1 Offers from such notable schools as Clemson, UCLA, Arizona State, Florida State, Michigan, Kansas State, Duke, Stanford, and Notre Dame, among others. This is another recruiting victory for WR Coach Mike Brown and the Notre Dame staff, adding even more star power to an already loaded class. The Irish continue their push for a top-5 recruiting class.
