Notre Dame's run on elite talent has extended into the class of 2027, as 4-star QB Teddy Jarrard has announced his commitment to the Fighting Irish. Jarrard is a 6’3", 190lbs QB out of North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Georgia. He is ranked by 247Sports Composite as the No. 194 overall recruit nationally, and the No. 15 QB in the Nation.

Jarrard led North Cobb High School to an 11-1 record during his sophomore campaign, passing for over 2,600 yards to go alongside 31 passing touchdowns to just five interceptions. Jarrard has seen his recruiting stock surge after dominating in camps, along with the massive leap in production he enjoyed this season. As it stands, Jarrard has a decent chance to finish the cycle as a 5-star prospect if he continues to elevate his play both at camps and during the season. Marcus Freeman and Gino Guidugli continue to put in work early in the cycle, establishing relationships which have allowed the Irish to secure early commitments from the majority of QB targets in Freeman's tenure. It's starting to become clear that Notre Dame will no longer just be a hat on the table for the nation's elite. He joins 3-star LB Ellis McGaskin out of Williamson High School in Mobile, Alabama, and Top Long Snapper Sean Kraft out of Asheville Christian Academy in Swannanoa, North Carolina, as the current commits for Notre Dame in the class of 2027.

Before committing to the Irish today, Jarrard held 33 D1 Offers from such notable schools as Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama, and Notre Dame, among others. The class of 2027 is off to an incredible start, and with a top signal caller now in the fold, expect the Irish to start attracting more attention from top recruits next cycle.
