Notre Dame basketball is on a tear, picking up their third 2025 recruit ranked in the top 100 this week following the commitment from 4-Star Ryder Frost this past Friday.

Frost, a 6'6" small forward from Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire, chose the Irish over Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and Virginia Tech.
Frost plays his position well with the ability to score from anywhere on the court. Most notably, Frost is a sharpshooter from beyond the ark, finding most of his points in the catch-and-shoot. He is elite without the ball in his hands especially coming off a screen. Frost is almost guaranteed to knock down a shot with any space.
He is solid when he gets downhill and goes to the basket, proving to be a solid finisher when he gets to the rim. With his height, Frost can find mismatches down low, allowing him to cut backdoor and get the easy layup with defenders worried about the three-ball.
Frost is the perfect player for a Micah Shrewsberry run offense that plays up-tempo and wants to get the ball out in transition. Having both Jalen Haralson and Marcus Burton (assuming he stays) next season, it will be perfect to have the tandem of Ryder Frost and Brady Koehler, who committed earlier this week.
Following this week, Micah Shrewsberry is now responsible for recruiting five of the top 15 recruits to ever commit to Notre Dame. He's done this heading into just his second season with the program, showing noticeable improvement in the latter half of ACC play.
Watch out Irish fans, Notre Dame basketball is on its way back.
